Born overseas and raised in a military family, The Insomniac spent her childhood experiencing many different places before moving to Minnesota. Having moved frequently around the world gave her a broad appreciation of music, turning her into a serious music eclectic.

     

Her love of music was only amplified  as a teenager when her family finally settled in Chicago, and she developed a love of house, grunge, and rock music to add to her R&B, and soul music roots. 

     

Moving to Minneapolis in 2001, her musical tastes only expanded further as she was introduced to local music scene, and eventually her massive love of music helped her to decide to share it with the public as a DJ.  

     

Sharing music, whether new or old, with others is her passion! She has embraced it fully, and plans to never look back...
